A brand to make visible
A film for a website, a pitch, a recruitment campaign, something that does the work of explaining who an organisation actually is when the about page can't.
Brand films, product video, interviews, internal communications and documentary, including on-site filming in operational environments. From the first conversation to the final grade.
Most of the value in a video is decided before the camera comes out of the case. “Video production” covers the whole arc: the conversation about what needs to be said, the pre-production that keeps a shoot day calm, the filming itself, and the edit that either earns its keep or doesn’t.
What tends to matter most isn’t the kit list, it’s the half-day or so beforehand where we work out the audience, the constraint, and the one moment the film has to land. Once that’s clear, the shoot tends to follow itself.
A film for a website, a pitch, a recruitment campaign, something that does the work of explaining who an organisation actually is when the about page can't.
A launch film, a feature explainer, a side-by-side comparison. Often a film plus stills plus a set of social cutdowns so one shoot keeps earning across channels.
Filming inside a working site: manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, education. Tight access, safety briefings, real people. We move around the work, not the other way round.
AGD Systems needed a short product film for the AGD650, an AI-powered traffic detection product designed for a market moving beyond traditional loop detection. The job was not just to show the unit. It was to help people understand what the product can detect, how it is used, and why that matters in real traffic […]
When you think of the business landscape in Gloucestershire, one name stands out: GFirst LEP. Over the years, they have played a crucial role in shaping the county’s economic success, fostering innovation, and supporting businesses of all sizes. For us at Bex Media, working with GFirst has been nothing short of transformational. Their trust in […]
When Stonehealth approached us about producing a film, we knew straight away that this wasn’t going to be just another corporate video. On the surface, they’re a heritage brand with decades of expertise in stone cleaning and preservation. But dig a little deeper, and you discover something far more compelling: a company built on passion, […]
We have had a relationship with National Grid for a good few years and so when they reached out to request a film to show how their senior leaders are contributing to the future of energy solutions through volunteering, we jumped at the chance. Their aim is to inspire and educate the next generation to […]
A first call, a written outline of what the film needs to do, a quote broken into pre-production, shoot and edit, then a kick-off, the shoot itself, two rounds of edit, and a delivery pack. Most jobs run four to eight weeks; faster is possible, slower is sometimes the better call.
The core team, direction, camera, edit and producing, is permanent. For bigger shoots we bring in freelancers we've worked with for years, for a second camera, audio, gimbal or drone. You'll know who's on the call sheet before the day.
Regularly. Most work is within a couple of hours of Gloucester, but we travel across the UK for the right brief.
Often. We write project-specific risk assessments, carry our own RAMS and are used to working around live processes and shift patterns. We'd rather slow a shoot down for a safety brief than rush it.
Either. For most brand and product films we draft a treatment and script with you. If you already have one signed off, we'll shoot it, and tell you honestly if we think it won't play.
Because projects vary too much for a rate card to mean anything, a two-day product shoot can cost the same as a half-day interview with the right talent. Tell us what needs making and roughly what's available; we'll be straight about whether the shape works.
