When you think of the business landscape in Gloucestershire, one name stands out: GFirst LEP. For us at Bex Media, working with GFirst has been nothing short of transformational. We structured the film around clear sections: a title sequence that visually represented the many moving parts that make up GFirst’s story, a traditional piece to camera with David, a factual overview highlighting their numerous projects, and a closing moment that used their iconic logo — not to introduce the film, but to gently fade it out, signalling the end of an era.
Crafting the edit required weaving together old footage, new footage, audio, and contributions from a wide range of people. Coordination became essential — ensuring everyone had what they needed, keeping communication flowing with the client, and managing the many assets involved. For members of our team who have worked on GFirst projects for years, taking the lead on the final edit and colour grade felt particularly meaningful.
