IOT: Advanced Digital Academy
The brief
Gloucestershire is set to be the go to place for the UK cyber industries with the Golden Valley development well underway which will house some of the leading names in cyber development and security. This forming part of the wider economic strategy for the county.
Gloucestershire College’s Cheltenham based ADA (Advanced Digital Academy) is perfectly placed to align with this strategy.
The college needed a video to help with the launch of the ADA, to generate interest amongst the potential students. We needed to show that they wouldn’t be attending any ordinary classrooms and that these were clearly next level facilities.
The branding work had already been done and as part of the film we also needed to bring this to life with motion graphics.
The build
As with all our films we wanted to have a robust plan of action to make the most of our time on the ground. We worked with the marketing team at the college to construct a series of scenarios, involving the students and lecturing staff to exemplify what the experience would be like and that it will prepare them for their next step into industry.
Not shying away from interesting angles and filming techniques to give us plenty of material for the edit and engaging finish.
The outcome
The project was also versioned in vertical format for use across their insta / facebook stories along with the digital signage real-estate they have across their campuses.
